Halloween Countdown Card

Craft an interactive card that counts down the days to Halloween with this spooky and playful project for your Cricut or Silhouette. Measuring 5 inches wide by 7 inches tall, this gatefold card takes the shape of a haunted house, complete with a playful ghost peeking behind the front door, inviting you to step inside. The outside of the card proudly displays the words Countdown to Halloween, and as you open it up, you will discover 31 individually numbered windows. Each day, open a window to reveal a different surprise Halloween image lurking inside. This captivating card is perfect for displaying on a shelf or sending as a memorable gift. This project requires a little extra work, but provides a big Wow factor. You will need to do a lot of cutting and weeding and precise gluing with a fine tipped glue nozzle. However, the instructions take you step-by-step with loads of pictures.

SIZE:

As designed, the closed card is 5 inches tall by 7 inches wide. It fits into an A7 envelope (themed envelope template provided). It can be made any size within your machine's parameters.

SUPPLIES NEEDED TO MAKE THE PROJECT:

- Die Cut Machine (ie. Silhouette, Cricut, or another cutting machine) & its most updated version of the software

- 8.5 by 11-inch cardstock in your choice of color

- Purple for the card base and envelope

- Black

- Orange or Dark Yellow/Gold

- 12 by 12-inch cardstock or paper in your choice of color for the envelope

- Strong glue with a fine tip nozzle.

- Optional: Manual Scoring tool
